Limited Warranty
The warranty obligations of Pro-Watt Supply for specific products labeled with either a three 3 year or five 5 year warranty are limited to the terms set forth below:
What is Covered
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship any of our products.
What is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, improper packing and shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), lightning, hail, wind, power surges, or other acts of nature. This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of this product from any installation, any unauthorized tampering with this product, any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by Pro-Watt Supply to make such repairs, or any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of this product. This limited warranty does not cover installation costs of the product.
How Long Does this Coverage Last
3 YEAR WARRANTY PRODUCTS
This limited warranty lasts for three (3) years from the date of original purchase of this product. Pro-Watt Supply will provide a three (3) month money back guarantee on any product. Pro-Watt Supply will replace any defective product free of charge within the first two (2) years since the date of purchase and pro rate the remaining 3rd year based on the new purchase price (less taxes and shipping) of the product.

Item purchased March 1, 2016 and customer is dissatisfied with product within three (3) months of purchase – money back guarantee with return of product.
Example #2
Item purchased in March 1, 2016, fails on or before March 1, 2017- replaced free of charge with same or compatible product.
Example #3
Item purchased on March 1, 2016, fails on or before March 1, 2018 – replaced free of charge with same or compatible product.
Example #4
Item purchased on March 1, 2016, fails after March 1, 2018 (after two (2) years) on July 1, 2018 – Item is prorated in third year based on usage.
Original Cost (less taxes and shipping) $400.00
Product fails on July 1, 2018 or 29 months past date of original purchase
$400/36 = $11/month usage 36 - 29 months X $11 = $81.00 value towards replacement light
5 YEAR WARRANTY PRODUCTS
This limited warranty lasts for five (5) years from the date of original purchase of this product. Pro-Watt Supply will provide a three (3) month money back guarantee on any product. Pro-Watt Supply will replace any defective product free of charge within the first four (4) years since the date of purchase and pro rate the remaining 5th year based on the new purchase price (less taxes and shipping) of the product.

Item purchased March 1, 2016 and customer is dissatisfied with product within three (3) months of purchase – money back guarantee with return of product.
Example #2
Item purchased in March 1, 2016, fails on or before March 1, 2018 - replaced free of charge with same or compatible product.
Example #3
Item purchased on March 1, 2016, fails on or before March 1, 2019 – replaced free of charge with same or compatible product.
Example #4
Item purchased on March 1, 2016, fails after March 1, 2019 (after four (4) years) on July 1, 2021 – Item is prorated in fifth year based on usage.
Original Cost (less taxes and shipping) $400.00
Product fails on July 1, 2020 or 53 months past date of original purchase
$400/60 = $6.66/month usage 60 - 53 months X $6.66 = $46.62 value towards replacement light
Who is Covered
Only the original purchaser of this product is covered under this limited warranty. This limited warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers or owners of this product.
What Pro-Watt Supply will do
Pro-Watt Supply will, at its sole option, provide one of the following three remedies to whatever extent it shall deem necessary to satisfy a proper claim under this limited warranty:
1. Elect to repair or facilitate the repair of any defective parts within a reasonable period of time, free of any charge for the necessary parts and labor to complete the repair and restore this product to its proper operating condition. Pro-Watt Supply will also pay the shipping costs necessary to return this product once the repair is complete.
2. Replace this product with a direct replacement or with a similar product deemed by Pro-Watt Supply to perform substantially the same function as the original product.
3. Issue a refund of the original purchase price less depreciation to be determined based on the age of the product at the time remedy is sought under this limited warranty.
What Pro-Watt Supply will not do Under This Limited Warranty
If this product is returned to Pro-Watt Supply, this product must be insured during shipment, with the insurance and shipping charges prepaid by you. If this product is returned uninsured, you assume all risks of loss or damage during shipment. Pro-Watt Supply will not be responsible for any costs related to the removal or re-installation of this product from or into any installation. Pro-Watt Supply will not be responsible for any costs related to any setting up this product, any adjustment of user controls or any programming required for a specific installation of this product.
Limitation on Liability
THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF PRO-WATT SUPPLY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRO-WATT SUPPLY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
Other Conditions
This limited warranty is void if (i) the label bearing the serial number of this product has been removed or defaced, (ii) the product is not distributed by Pro-Watt Supply or (iii) this product was not purchased from Pro-Watt Supply.
